Welcome to The Obsessed Tudor – a site for all things Tudor!
Over the years, I’ve taken great pleasure in studying Tudor history—from the fall of the Plantagenets at Bosworth and the dawn of the Tudor dynasty, to the brilliance of the Elizabethan age that closed in 1603. Yet too often, long-standing assumptions and inherited narratives have been repeated without scrutiny. I believe many of these deserve a fresh examination—and, where necessary, a thoughtful challenge.
I am especially committed to shedding light on individuals whose stories have shaped Tudor history but have remained in the shadows for far too long, including Catherine and Henry Carey and their mother, Mary Boleyn.
I hope you enjoy exploring these subjects with me through this blog.
